Princess Cruises has announced an expansion of its Southern Caribbean cruise program for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, with Barbados returning as a key departure port.
The cruise line plans to operate more than 30 voyages visiting around 15 destinations, giving travellers the option to begin their cruise either in Barbados or San Juan.
Ships Sailing the New Itineraries
Two Princess ships will operate the Southern Caribbean program:
Crown Princess will sail from January to March 2027
Emerald Princess will operate cruises from November 2027 through March 2028
Cruise Length and Destinations
The itineraries range from six to nine nights, allowing travellers to explore several beautiful Caribbean islands.
Ports featured in the program include destinations such as:
Antigua
Dominica
along with other popular islands across the Southern Caribbean.
These shorter itineraries make it easier for travellers to experience multiple islands in a single cruise.
A Popular Region for Cruisers
The Southern Caribbean remains one of the most sought-after cruise regions thanks to its warm weather, tropical scenery and variety of island cultures.
Adding Barbados as a departure port provides more choice and flexibility for travellers looking to explore this part of the Caribbean.
Now Available to Book
The new Southern Caribbean sailings are already on sale, giving travellers the opportunity to start planning their Caribbean cruise well in advance.
