Quick Questions
Is this a dating site? No — Cruise Companions Club is not a dating platform. Our focus is on friendship, shared cruise experiences, and travel companionship in a relaxed, respectful environment. Most members join to find people to dine with, explore ports together, enjoy onboard activities, or share the journey in a social way. That said, meaningful connections can naturally grow when people travel together. If you’re open to the possibility of romance, you’re welcome to say so in your profile — just remember the community is built first and foremost around friendship and shared travel experiences.
Do I have to share a cabin? Not at all. Some members are simply looking for dinner companions, excursion buddies, or people to socialise with onboard. Cabin sharing is always a personal choice between members and is never expected or required. You decide what kind of connection feels right for you.
Is it safe? Your comfort and control come first. You choose what information to share, who you connect with, and how conversations develop. Messaging happens within the platform, and there is never any pressure to meet in person or make plans before you feel ready. We encourage members to connect gradually and make decisions that feel comfortable for them.
Do I need to be booked on a cruise already? No — you’re welcome to join whether you already have a cruise booked or are still in the planning stage. Many members connect before booking so they can find others considering similar itineraries. Others join once they have their cruise dates confirmed to meet people sailing at the same time. Either way, the goal is to help you build connections before you step onboard.
A Note From Your Club Concierge
Cruise Companions Club was created to help cruisers feel more connected and confident before they travel. This is a friendly, respectful space built with care — and we’re so glad you’re here.
